Roundhouse All-Night Rave

Pink Floyd first played at the Roundhouse in London for the launch of IT Magazine on October 15th 1966, which was a big party with big attendance but minimal electricity, heat, or light. Every week the disused industrial site became marginally cleaner and better equipped. The band next played there on December 3rd 1966 for “Psychodelphia versus Ian Smith,” a fundraiser for Zimbabwe. Their third appearance was on December 31st 1966 — the second night of an “All-Night Rave” doubleheader.  They played at the Roundhouse about eight times over 1966-1967 — my pictures here are from that third night (December 31st 1966).
